The Nambucca Heads Island Golf Club invites you to our Veterans Week of Golf (WOG) starting Sunday 23 August.
Nominations – This is a very popular event and limited to 144 players – nominations are now open and it’s suggested you do so as soon as possible.
YOUR INVITATION
Preference will be given to entrants playing all 4 days and to those travelling to and from other Vets
tournaments.
Nominations from Mid North Coast Vets (Woolgoolga to Kempsey/Crescent Head/Dorrigo) will be accepted subject to vacancies. NHIGC members are ineligible, except as emergency fill-ins.
A waiting list will be maintained should the need arise.
When arranging your accommodation requirements, please consider our Club sponsors – Foreshore Caravan Park (cabins/ caravan sites), Cubana Resort (motel) and Marcel Towers (apartments), Be sure to mention our Vets WOG to ensure you receive any discounts which apply.
Golf carts – our course is flat and easy walking and there are a limited number of carts for hire. The WOG
Committee will coordinate your requirements – circle all days required, if wishing to share with someone, specify name, otherwise show ‘anyone’. Do not contact the Pro Shop! Carts will be allocated on a ‘first in’ and compulsory share basis @$20pp. Private carts are welcome at no cost.
Payment – All nominations MUST be paid by direct deposit to the NHIGC bank account. Please ensure you include the Payee Reference – WOG/your surname, eg WOG/JOHNSON.
Receipt – Your entry nomination will be acknowledged by email within 14 days, together with more
information regarding various options available to further enhance your time at Nambucca. Contact
us by email if you have not received your acknowledgement. Refunds – unsuccessful nominations will receive a full refund. Cancellations after the draw is published will receive a partial refund.
A new email is allocated for this year’s event: vetsnhigc26@gmail.com – do not use previous
emails as these have been closed. Club and Pro-shop do not have access to tournament information.
The Draw – A copy of the final draw should be available on the Club’s website www.namgolf.com a week
prior to the event, and at registration. We will endeavour to meet your playing preferences, however, no
amendments will be made unless there are exceptional circumstances.
